Gothic, dark, obscure, and obscene, it implores. Outstretching far into the empty hollow heavens, trying to cope, trying to coexist; but, it is doomed. As earths long wretched, mighty claws have a fast hold on it, pulling it to its demise, to overpower it, to consume it, to converge with it. And from deep inside it hums, it sways, it tempts me. Its calm, silent, vegetative state sends a cold shiver up my spine. Finding me terrified, as its burlesque and grotesque touch caresses my naked feet, entwining my vulnerable toes, causing me to shiver in anxiety. I hesitate with nervousness, suddenly; it lets out a deep grave, blasphemous growl into the night, as its ancient wooden door shatters to pieces upon contact with earth. A shockwave of dust and cobwebs give me full impact. Bruising my eyes, as they try desperately to get away, leaving behind a rancid pungent stench that of its putrefact decaying skin. Opening the heart to its soul, the abyss of darkness seems to hold time still an invitation to nowhere; yet, I take a plunge into it and am lost forever.
